Cookie Policy
LimAI uses a small number of cookies and browser-storage keys. We don’t use advertising trackers, fingerprinting, or third-party analytics scripts that follow you across the web.
Strictly necessary (always on)
- Session cookies — set by our auth provider after sign-in, so we know who you are between page loads. Cleared when you sign out.
- CSRF tokens — protect against cross-site request forgery on form submissions.
Local storage (in-browser only, never sent to a server)
- limai_theme — your light/dark mode preference.
- limai_name — the display name shown in your sidebar greeting.
- limai_projects_v1 — your project metadata and file contents (so you don’t lose work on a refresh).
- limai_tier — your subscription tier (Free / Starter / Pro / Max). Mirrored from your account on next sign-in.
- limai_usage — current month’s build count and cost, displayed in the sidebar credits counter.
- limai_project_meta_* — per-project model/platform/mode preferences.
Local storage stays on your device until you clear browser data or use the in-app “Delete account” option.
Performance and security (set by Vercel)
- __vercel_live_token — Vercel’s comments and preview-deployment integration (only on preview URLs).
- Standard CDN-related caching headers for static assets.
Third-party services
When you take certain actions, these third-party services set their own cookies:
- Stripe — when you visit the Checkout page, Stripe sets fraud-prevention cookies (
__stripe_mid,__stripe_sid). See Stripe’s cookie policy. - Expo Snack — when you use the “Open on phone” QR tab, Expo sets cookies on snack.expo.dev. See Expo’s cookie policy.
How to control cookies
You can clear LimAI’s local-storage keys at any time from your browser’s Developer Tools → Application → Local Storage panel, or by clicking “Delete account” in your settings (which wipes everything).
Most browsers also let you block third-party cookies globally — this won’t break LimAI’s core features but may interfere with Stripe Checkout’s fraud detection.
Changes
If we add or remove cookies, we’ll update this page and the “Effective” date at the top. Material changes will be announced in-product.
